I found a wonderful Charlotte Mason style writing "program" last month called Writer's Jungle by Charlotte Mason homeschooling Mom Julie Bogart. She blogs about it at Bravewriter.
It's not really a curriculum, although it has lots of ideas for writing projects. It's more a manual for moms about creating the atmosphere of writing in the home. Charlotte Mason would definitely approve!
It has given me such confidence that I was doing more than I thought I was for writing preparation without even knowing it!

This is a great article Sonya, thank you! I loved the way you explained the process from oral narration to written narration, and then eventually working on specific areas in writing for the student to improve and master. It reminds me of working on habits, one at a time.
